I'm an experienced developer and Open Source activist, currently working as co-owner and CTO at OpenShine, a company specialized in opensource development, located in Madrid, Spain.

I've been involved in Open Source communities since 1999, mainly in Gnome-related projects, but also in Open Government and related subjects.

As a developer, my main areas of interest are software design and finding new uses for everyday technologies.

comment TDD: how to test file outputs?
Parsing the file is in the lead of possible solutions, but I wonder if that's placing too much logic in the tests. If I write a parser to test the files, I guess the parser should be tested too. Sounds painful in the long term.

I mean I should use the same library I use to generate the file, not the same data algorithm. Not sure if it's the way to go, sounds like too much coupling.
