comment In Programming, How do people think? (especially in loops)
Simple, make short sentences. You can transform this skill to programming, too. Split big problems into single commands and you will get a solution. The problem with your writing is not the grammar but the never ending sentences combined with stuff inside brackets. Write simple and keep it simple.

You should reduce the creativity in your sentences and push that into your code. I am not a native speaker, but your sentences are extremely confusing!

comment Team of 1: Do I need Project Management & Versioning Software?
You could break the management down to personal management. Have some friends who use redmine/trac for private todo management and the wiki for their private knowledgebase. Both statements are valid so it is up to his mind if he needs a tool for self organizing or not.

comment Scaling yourself up against a better programmer/role model?
@James: like Ben said, just remember what you have learned in the last month. If you haven't learned anything, you should think about the reason and change it!

comment Why don't all companies buy developers the best hardware?
I was lucky, my boss just asked me about the percentage my productivity will increase when I get the second display I was asking for. I said something around 10% (when I remember correctly) and it was ok for him. I got 2 new displays because the old one was 15" but the new one where 19" (5 years ago)... +1 for this great question
