Crunch-time Sleep Deprivation: Survival Strategies? @joris I'm not disagreeing that real sleep is better, but again, the question asks about sleep deprivation and I'd like to requote stampi again to clarify the point I'm trying to make "Polyphasic sleep may be a feasible, and perhaps the only, strategy allowing remarkable levels of sleep reduction during prolonged quasi-continuous work situations, without unduly compromising performance effectiveness." |

Crunch-time Sleep Deprivation: Survival Strategies? @joris the question asks about sleep deprivation, not optimal problem solving ability. I haven't seen any work either confirming or denying any problem solving affects when polyphasic sleeping. |
