@user61852 Thanks, yea I'm familiar with that. The analogy mostly works, but when free speech is used as an explanation to explain, "Freedom to share, freedom to edit." they emphasize the end-user freedom, but not the developer freedom. That's why it's not fully-free, it's a one-sided freedom. "Free software is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of free as in free speech, not as in free beer." — Richard Stallman Freedom for the user, at the expense of freedom of the developer, with the GPL. With the LGPL there is (in my opinion) a better balance.
