comment How to properly handle indefinite generators in Python
Ok I agree, in this particular example that relies on behavior of readline it makes sense. But since this example is all about generator returning either value or None, I'd put extra emphasis on that fact by explicitly checking whether value is None. Will require rework though. Other than that excellent example, already re-worked my generators :)

I meant if line is not None, sorry. if line will fail if line is empty which isn't desired behavior.

Can you think of any example in standard library (maybe asyncio?) that does it?

I guess if line: should be if line is None: in __main__.

comment Modern analog of DDD (Data Display Debugger)
@KarlBielefeldt data visualization tools I've seen so far either to specific (just draws graphs and provides some animation/interaction) or to broad (like d3js). Very similar system was introduced by Bret Viktor, but rather than taking code, app should take data (arrays, numbers etc) group them and allow navigation between different states (iterations). Another example of the similar tool using DTrace. But it's abilities are very limited and only represents current state.

It is legal to disassemble purchased software in Russia. At least not illegal.

Yeah, I'm looking for a general OS/language agnostic book. But I will appreciate any suggestion for specific one.
