My history
I was born on December 10, 1974 in San Diego, CA. I grew up running the streets, surfing, schooling, sports like baseball, and football in High school. I got to my senior year and had to drop out because of personal reasons. I then got my GED in 1992 and went back to school to finish my diploma. I graduated in 1994. That was a huge accomplishment for me. I then moved to Portland Oregon where I met the mother of 4 of my children I have 2 more from previous relationship. So that’s 6 kids in all and believe me when I tell you I have my hands full. But I am a very proud father and I pride myself on raising them. I have been struggling real badly the last two months because I lost my Dad and that was and still is a huge blow to me. It caused me to really question my own mortality and it has really made me sad and depressed. Life goes on and we can either lie down or die to or we can push on and maybe do something positive in his memory. My point is I am here and am more clear now and ready to start a new class.
My IT experience is as follows
I have been fixing computers from my house for about 12 years with no back ground training just trial and error. Plus, a ton of online trouble shooting then I heard about this online schooling and now I have my Associate of Arts with my concentration in Information Technology/Information Technology Support since December 2011 and wow what a difference. I thought I knew so much but really I was holding myself back all these years by thinking you can teach yourself everything that can be taught in this field. I am now working towards my BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.
The Operating systems that I have experience in are Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, and 7. I know XP and windows 7 the best out of all of them; I know everything about the software. Windows 7 I love the best out of all the systems Microsoft finally did something right, I no almost as much about this OS as I do XP. Vista was my least favorite out of all of them but I do know because of past courses a lot about Vista OS. Any way I just tried the pre-release of Windows 8
