The feature. But as I said, one of the acceptance criteria that the generated value is somehow fair and unpredictable

comment returning null vs returning zero, which would be better?
@Carra if the client code does not handle exception, it would probably just be the same

comment Stuck due to “knowing too much”
Your problem is not "knowing too much", but analyzing too much. You don't need to care about performance, future features, etc. too much now, it's not that the world's gonna end if the customer gives you a new feature that's a bit hard to implement

comment What metrics should be used to measure memory consumption of a program for performance test?
Externally. I am supposed to run the program and collect its memory footprint by writing a testing program. Yes I notice I can get private bytes, but there are also Working set, page file, peak working set, and a bunch of other options related to memory usage. What are the difference and whihc one is appropriate?

comment How to decide whether to implement an operation as Entity operation vs Service operation in Domain Driven Design?
I realize maybe it's hard to answer without any specific example, maybe you can propose some example, and I'll also think of some concrete situation to illustrate

comment How to decide whether to implement an operation as Entity operation vs Service operation in Domain Driven Design?
Indeed I am asking about a generic rule of thumb. I know that there is no magical rule that works 100%, but I want to know how to "intuit" as easily as you apparently do and acquire that intuition, maybe there is a good rule of thumb? I am not making any concrete decision right now

comment How to decide whether to implement an operation as Entity operation vs Service operation in Domain Driven Design?
maybe for a seasoned programmer, it's intuitive, but for me it's often not. For example, without a more specific rule I don't know which one is more natural: myData.Transform(); or myTransformer.Transform(data);
