comment How to name an subclass that add a minor, detailed thing?
the drawback of this kind of naming is that it isn't descriptive or self-explanatory, for example, when you saw code using TreeViewEx in several times in the application, the reader has no immediate idea why it is used and how it is different from the normal tree view

comment How to name an subclass that add a minor, detailed thing?
@ratchetfreak I want it to be reusable in several places, and I am using it inside some DataTemplates too.. so I decided to create a class.. Regardless of the decision, my question is about the naming of such classes

comment “Agile Principles, Patterns, and Practices in C#”: Is this just a .NET-translation of the popular Uncle Bob book?
@ThomasOwens I learned not to trust seller's description because it can be misleading

Sorry to keep asking, any idea how to make this work for group of n files? (e.g. if I want to group foo*.xml, bar*.xml, blah*.xml, ....)

@MadKeithV for loose coupling and testability?

The feature. But as I said, one of the acceptance criteria that the generated value is somehow fair and unpredictable

comment returning null vs returning zero, which would be better?
@Carra if the client code does not handle exception, it would probably just be the same

comment Stuck due to “knowing too much”
Your problem is not "knowing too much", but analyzing too much. You don't need to care about performance, future features, etc. too much now, it's not that the world's gonna end if the customer gives you a new feature that's a bit hard to implement

comment What metrics should be used to measure memory consumption of a program for performance test?
Externally. I am supposed to run the program and collect its memory footprint by writing a testing program. Yes I notice I can get private bytes, but there are also Working set, page file, peak working set, and a bunch of other options related to memory usage. What are the difference and whihc one is appropriate?

comment Is C# more superior than Java as a programming language, objectively speaking?
@CodeWorks I was talking about simplicity to perform tasks. I'm not even asking for whether overall it's more simple to do things in Java or C#. I was asking if there is any task that is systematically simpler/cleaner to do in Java than C#
