Is a university education worth it for a good programmer? Yeah, I had the same problem but living in Canada meant my tuition was under $4K a year, so I took the option of working full time for a startup (with some scheduling issues) and did a course or two at a time. Note that I had to change jobs before I saw any degree based rate-of-pay difference. |
