Web Developer or Software Engineer? @Tim Post - I don't really agree.. whereas exposure always helps, it is not necessary to be a good web developer. That's the whole point of having layers of abstraction to work on. After all, its better to know something in great detail than to know a lot superficially. |

How do you cope with ugly code that you wrote? Define ugliness.. because as far as i can tell, you can generally refactor old code to make things better. If you tell me that you realize that you should have used silverlight instead of asp.net and you get to know this after you developed 10 features, then i sympathize with you. Anything lesser than this, is practically everyday software engineering and we have to deal with it. Anyways I have given a more practical answer below. |
