comment Why does F# have an interactive mode but not C#?
Great answer. About Python vs C#: {} syntax languages do not bend nicely for REPLs, indentation based languages have a great advance here. Never thought I ever would think or say it: indentation syntax is better than {} syntax. For REPLs as well as for readability of code. So as long as there is no C# metasyntax that substitutes indentation with {}, REPL experience will never be as smooth as for instance in F# or Python.

comment Differences between TypeScript and Dart
While in preview state, Typescript is in perfect shape for usage in professional projects that ship tomorrow. Language and Tools work without any serious issue, or even hardly any issue at all.

Yes, Dart is something in the lab we can watch and wait for in the future, while Typescript is ready for professional development now. So comparing Typescript to Dart is comparing apples to orange seedlings.

"Dart tools support tree shaking, a technique to "shake" off unused code, thus shrinking the size of the deployed application. I can import rich libraries chock full of useful goodness into my application, but only the functions I actually use will be included in my generated output." thx
