comment Does Dart have any useful features for web programmers?
@ErikReppen: I think it's a good idea to wrap callbacks under the hood like Backbone does. Callbacks are nice to have around but too many of them (in your application code) bring maintainability issues.

comment Does Dart have any useful features for web programmers?
@ErikReppen: if you use jQuery exclusively for DOM manipulation, you can write code that hardly needs any callbacks, in case you combine it with other frameworks like backbone.js. Binding events with jQuery very much promotes (anonymous) callbacks. backbone.js has IMHO a more structured approach.

comment Business issues in the issue tracker?
MichaelT: Great idea. We're using Pivotal, I guess we would then create a separate Pivotal project for that.

Really, in what kind of environment have you seen that? Corporate or rather startup? I guess the visibility can probably be quite an issue, when some people should better not see certain business things.

This seems to work out! Although I have uncertainty about the OS and Browser fallback mechanisms. Unfortunately they are not documented well, if at all.

I just realized those fonts are ~20 MB... (BabelStoneHan it is) I guess now I need to test the options.

thanks for your answer, I see it depends very much on the use case. It's for a Chinese learning website, so unfortunately many users will see for the first time that they don't have the appropriate fonts :S (also updated the question)
